Compliment at least one person a day for their contribution or efforts – tell them explicitly how essential and meaningful their presence is.

During every team or family meeting, pause for a moment and highlight the personal value of the participants – remind them how their contributions impact the bigger picture.

Choose once a week to send a personal thank-you message to someone – a commander, friend, or family member, for a small action that makes a difference.
