Every day, choose one person around you and do a small act for them quietly - bring them coffee, help them carry something, or send them an encouraging message. Do this without announcing it and without expecting thanks, just to see them smile.

At the end of each day, ask yourself: 'Who did I make smile today?' If the answer is 'no one', commit to doing at least one act tomorrow that will make someone smile.

Every time you say, 'Next time we'll do something nice together', stop and ask, 'Why not now?' Then do something immediately.
